I hired Faris alsaaket to install a Tesla charger since the rebate through Comed paid for the full service. He assured me that the Comed energy rebate would be given and that his previous customers all received it. He gave me assurances that if I didn’t get the rebate, he would refund me the full cost. My rebate was denied because he is not a part of the program, when I asked him for the refund, he said he would refund me. It has been 5 months and he has not paid me back in full, only 2 small payments. Instead of paying me the cash back he agreed to do work to compensate for the money as an alternative. He promises to show up and cancels the day off, this has happened over 6 times and if he shows up it’s hours later. Out of seven times, he showed up once hours later to do the bare minimum and leave. There is always a emergency- phone call from back home, car broken, tire has a flat, he can’t work because he is fasting. Totally unreliable and now for the 2 hours he actually showed up, he’s broken my washing machine and I had to pay someone else to fix it. Do not trust him with your home, time, or money. He made 2 payments and still owes $550 and keeps telling me he’s going to show up to do the work and has canceled six times and once he bothered to show up for only two hours. He has wasted so much of my time. I wanted to be fair and help him out and figured if he can’t pay me back, work it off. He agreed to finish the list of items in my home and still nothing. I do not recommend this company. If a contractor can’t pay you back $550 over five months that is not someone you should trust with deposits. He is not licensed, he is not insured, he is not bonded, he doesn’t have a valid LLC. Everything is a lie and illegally done. People should know. Do not give him your money.
